The contactor's son is babysat during the day by one of our family friends and when he went to pick him up yesterday, he told her that this was the most beautiful floor he has ever laid down. :) YAY! I like that. hehe.
We'll see what gets done today. :P

SO - a little info.
Our tile man says that you don't have to take out the lower cainets, you just tile around them. So ask your contractor why he does it? I am curious.
It's a good thing they left that 1 light on or everything would be black. It will look better in the daylight when you get home today.
Yeah, he said he didn't have to take them out, but if he did he could just tile the whole floor square. So then also, it wouldn't be an issue like if we wanted to take out our dishwasher to fix or something. Cause if we just tiled around it, we might not be able to get it out due to the additional height the floor would add. Also, there would be a bigger height difference between the carpet and hallway as compared to the kitchen...more for Mom to trip on. But if they tore out the linoleum and subfloor it wouldn't be such a drastic difference...which was better overall.
So, why does Travis want to make fun of me? Cause I keep calling our floor pretty? :)
