Now I had an eye doctor's appointment yesterday so I ended up getting home a bit earlier than I normally do and the construction guys weren't there. Apparently they had been called to another client's home where they had a water heater emergency that took awhile to fix. So considering they didn't work the whole day but cut out a bit early they still got a lot done. But tonight they should finish the tiling...no walking through the kitchen for the next few days. So to go to bed...gotta go out the garage and in the front door. Fun times. :)

The floor looks so great. Even Bill, our contractor, said it looks better than the sample in the store. Love the lighting and new ceiling. It will look better when the ceiling is painted and the rings around the lights are put up. I have the ceiling paint and now he wants me to get the wall paint. Sounds like he is going to do the painting too. Bonus!!! He said if they have to wait for something to dry and they have some painting to do while they wait, why not pay them to do something rather than pay them to sit and watch something dry. Good point.

Good contractor too, if he wants to be busy while he waits. Hmm? Are you sure he is a contractor?
